These copper and turquoise earrings have a bohemian tribal flair. They feature uniquely textured copper dangles accented with African turquoise stones and copper beads. They'll make a great gift for women that love bold, unique artisan jewelry -- or a treat for yourself.
MEASUREMENTS: Total length: 2-3/8" from top of niobium (hypoallergenic ear wires) and 1" at widest point. I created the shapes out of solid copper sheet; hand textured the metal; then antiqued it for a warm, rustic glow. The metal was sealed with jeweler's wax to resist tarnishing.
✤✤ Although commonly known as African turquoise, this stone is a jasper found in Africa. It has a matrix structure similar to turquoise with hues of green and blue, along with black and brown inclusions.
