These handcrafted earrings feature copper teardrop dangles with an earthy, organic texture topped off with a stack of natural African turquoise stones. They have an earthy modern flair that coordinates well with all wardrobe styles. MEASUREMENTS: Total length: 2-3/4" from top of copper ear wires and 7/8" at widest point. They are shown with antiqued copper ear wires. If you prefer niobium (hypoallergenic) wires, chose that option at checkout. The total length is slightly shorter with niobium wires. I created the shapes out of solid copper; hand textured the metal; then antiqued it for a warm, rustic glow. The metal was sealed with jeweler's wax to resist tarnishing.
✤ Although commonly known as African turquoise, this stone is a type of jasper found in Africa with a matrix structure similar to turquoise.
