A natural green zebra jasper gemstone is accented with a handcrafted sterling silver bail in this one-of-a-kind necklace. This stone is named for its distinctive stripes reminiscent of African zebras. It's typically found with white and black stripes, although it's common to find variations of green, red or brown. The stone is this piece has been cut into a fan shape and has an earthy forest green hue with white bands of striping. It will make a great gift for anyone that loves natural stone jewelry --- or a nice addition to your own jewelry collection.
MEASUREMENTS: Pendant measures 2-1/8" in length and 2-1/8" at widest point. I created the bail out of solid sterling silver sheet; hammered it for texture; then accented it with twists of sterling silver wire. The metal was oxidized to bring out the texture's detail. It is signed on the back with my initials and sterling stamp. It comes on a 20" stainless steel rope chain with lobster claw closure.
