These earrings feature rustic hammered copper dangles accented with a stack of natural African turquoise stones topped off with copper beads. They have an earthy, modern boho style with a touch of tribal flair.
MEASUREMENTS: Total length: 2-1/2" from top of copper ear wires and 3/4" at widest point. They are shown with antiqued copper ear wires. If you prefer niobium (hypoallergenic) wires, chose that option at checkout. I created the shapes out of solid copper sheet; hand textured the metal; drilled a few holes for a rustic effect; then antiqued them for a warm, rustic glow. The metal was sealed with jeweler's wax to resist tarnishing.
✤ Although commonly known as African turquoise, this stone is a type of jasper found in Africa with a matrix structure similar to turquoise - with hues of green and blue, along with black and brown inclusions.
