Natural lapis lazuli gemstones are the focal point of these sterling silver earrings. They have a lovely teardrop shape -- along with a vibrant blue hue, a generous sprinkling of pyrite inclusions and some milky white spotting. I love lapis when it looks like this because it showcases its natural, organic state. They are accented with handmade sterling silver dangles. Modern, earthy - yet elegant and always in style!
MEASUREMENTS: Total length: 2-1/2” from top of sterling silver ear wires and 7/8" at widest point. I created the dangles out of solid sterling silver sheet; then hammered the metal for a rustic, organic texture. The silver was given a charcoal patina, buffed and polished to enhance the detail. They are signed on the back with my initials and sterling stamp.
