Big, long natural African turquoise stones are accented with rustic hammered sterling silver dangles in these one-of-a-kind earrings. They have an earthy, organic style and are perfect for anyone that loves natural stones. I hand sawed the dangles out of solid sterling silver sheet; hammered them for texture; crimped the edges for a ruffled effect; then added a few holes for a rustic vibe. The silver was oxidized for an antiqued finish. They are signed on the back with my initials and sterling stamp.
MEASUREMENTS: Total length: 2-5/8” from top of sterling silver ear wires and 3/4” at widest point of silver dangle.
✤ Although commonly known as African turquoise, this natural stone is a type of jasper found in Africa with a matrix structure and colors similar to turquoise.
