This one of a kind necklace features a natural Orthoceras fossil stone dangling from a silver pewter circle with a lightly hammered texture. This particular fossil has a brown hue - which is unusual, because these fossils are typically found in more black tones. This type of fossil is found in the Sahara Desert of Morocco where they were once ocean dwellers. Their shells were preserved in the marble in which they are found today. The design is unisex -- so it can be worn by either a man or a woman. Makes a great gift for a rock hound or natural fossil / stone lover!
MEASUREMENTS: Pendant measures 3-3/4" in length (from top of circle to bottom of stone) and 1-1/4" at widest point of pewter circle. It comes on a 20” stainless steel chain necklace with lobster claw closure. The necklace can be removed and worn with other pendants in your wardrobe.
