These handcrafted sterling silver earrings have a hammered texture and are accented with natural dalmatian jasper and black lava stones. They have an earthy, rustic vibe that makes a unique statement. Lava stones are a type of igneous rock that forms when magma from volcanoes solidifies and hardens into rock.
MEASUREMENTS: Total length: 2-1/4” from top of sterling silver ear wires and 1” at widest point. I hand sawed the shapes out of solid sterling silver sheet; hammered, stamped and crimped the metal; then pierced a few holes for a rustic effect. The metal was oxidized, brushed for a satin sheen, and signed on the back with my initials and sterling stamp.
