Big, bold and striking - these handmade mixed metal earrings have a contemporary modern vibe. The brass shapes are embossed with a deeply textured spiral pattern & the sterling dangles have a textured pattern that echos the texture in the spiral shapes. Unique & versatile, the combination of metals enables them to mix & match with other copper & silver accessories in your wardrobe.
MEASUREMENTS: Total length: 3-1/4” from top of sterling silver ear wires and 1-1/4" at widest point. The metal was antiqued and polished to enhance the detail; then sealed with jeweler's wax to resist tarnishing. Despite their impressive size, they are lightweight & comfortable to wear. They are signed on the back with my initials & sterling stamp.
Spirals are some of the oldest geometric shapes found in ancient artwork. It has become a powerful symbol for creation and growth, used by many ancient cultures and religious traditions. It represents eternity, change / growth, and even the evolution or movement of the universe.
