Sterling Silver Earrings with Dangling Crinoid Fossil Stones - Bold Modern Earthy Organic Natural Fossil Jewelry

These handcrafted sterling silver earrings have a rustic, organic texture and are accented with natural crinoid fossil stones and silver pewter beads. Crinoids are an ancient fossil group that first occurred in the seas over 300 million years ago. The stones have tiny fossils embedded in their host rock in hues of gray, black, white and subtle hints of pink. They have a bold, earthy modern style and will make a great gift for a fossil lover.

MEASUREMENTS: Total length: 2-1/4” from top of sterling silver ear wires and 1” at widest point. I hand sawed the shapes out of solid sterling silver sheet; hammered, stamped and crimped the metal; then oxidized it for a brushed satin sheen. They are signed on the back with my initials and sterling stamp.
