This handcrafted sterling silver necklace features a natural llanite gemstone. Llanite is a rare stone that has blue quartz and pink feldspar inclusions embedded into a black granite background. It's found only in the Llano area of Texas - hence its name. The stone in this piece has lots of natural inclusions and exhibits hues of blue, purple and mauve.
MEASUREMENTS: Pendant measures 2-1/4" in length and 1-3/8" at widest point. I handcrafted the bail out of solid sterling silver sheet; lightly textured the metal; then oxidized it to highlight the detail.
► CHAIN OPTIONS: Pendant may be purchased WITH OR WITHOUT the chain. If you select "With Sterling Chain" option, it will come on the chain shown in the photos - an 18" solid sterling silver snake chain with lobster claw closure.
