This necklace features a natural picture jasper gemstone framed against a backdrop of textured sterling silver. The stone has a unique natural pattern in hues of dusty pink, light brown and mauve against a taupe-beige background. The pattern resembles a landscape or the streaks in the setting sky when it's all aglow.
MEASUREMENTS: 2-7/8" in length and 1-1/4" at widest point. I designed the shape of the pendant to flow with the shape of the stone; sawed it out of solid sterling silver sheet; hand filed all edges until meticulously smooth; stamped it for texture; then crimped the edges for a sculptural effect. The stone is securely wrapped onto the pendant with abstract twists of sterling silver wire. It comes on a 16" light mocha brown necklace with sterling silver lobster claw closure. It is signed on the back with my initials and sterling stamp.
