This one-of-a-kind pendant necklace features a natural turritella fossil stone with a wire wrapped sterling silver bail. Turritella agate is a concentration of small shells that have been embedded and fossilized for millions of years. This type of fossil is only found in the state of Wyoming, USA. Millions of years ago, a part of Wyoming's Delaney Rim was covered by an ancient saltwater sea where this species of snails once lived. Each stone has its own unique pattern with a wonderful array of fossils and shells embedded in an agate stone base - all compliments of Mother Nature.
MEASUREMENTS: Total length of 2-5/8" from top of sterling silver wire bail and 1-1/8" at widest point. It comes on a 19-1/2" stainless steel rope chain with lobster claw closure.
