This pendant necklace features a natural dalmatian jasper stone accented with a hand forged sterling silver bail. This type of jasper is known for its spotted pattern that resembles the Dalmatian breed of dog. The matrix consists of mineral inclusions of brown iron oxide, black tourmaline & other minerals which create the natural "spots" in the stone. The design is unisex, so it can be worn by either a man or women. It's reversible and can be worn on either side. (See all photos for both sides).
MEASUREMENTS: 2-7/8" in length (from top of sterling silver bail to bottom of stone) and 1-3/4” at widest point. I created the bail out of solid sterling silver sheet; hand filed edges until meticulously smooth; then hammered and oxidized it for a rustic texture. It comes on an 18" black rubber cord necklace with sterling silver lobster claw closure. The necklace can be worn with other pendants - so it is like getting 2 pieces of jewelry in one!
